The Dial House is a paranoid psychological thriller about an underground institution where powerful people are quietly “swapped out” and replaced by better versions of themselves.
Celebrities, politicians, artists, CEOs. When their lives stall, their talent fades, or their public image begins to rot, The Dial House intervenes. A new version takes over. Cleaner. Sharper. More useful. The public never notices. They just call it a comeback, a rebrand, a breakdown, a conspiracy theory.
Jon, a talented but unsuccessful writer, is brought inside the system and given the chance to shape these replacements from behind the curtain. But the deeper he goes, the more he starts to morally question the system; who is real, who has already been replaced, and whether his own life has been edited long before he arrived.
The Dial House exposes celebrity conspiracy culture. It’s a dark, addictive investigation into the price of fame, authorship and asks who is pulling the strings.
Independently, Tim & Tim have basically won every award in advertising you can throw a stick at - Cannes Lions, British Arrows, D&ADs etc - and have now brought this experience together to write originals.
Tim Swaby spent the last 10years+ as a Creative Partner in production company Spindle, and Tim Hyland is a Creative Director at Whalar. Between them, they have worked for some of the biggest brands in the world, managing high creative execution, high budgets and even higher expectations.
